Managing Personal Stress:

This workshop is designed to enable participants to understand that personal stress can be managed and implement strategies to empower them to be more assertive in stress management in their work and life roles.

Programme Objectives:

At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

  • Recognise what stress is and how it works .
  • State the difference between good stress and bad stress.
  • Identify organisational stressors.
  • Identify personal stressors.
  • List positive coping strategies.
  • List negative coping strategies.
  • State negative effects of stress on the body.
  • Identify positive coping strategies that suit you.
  • Design a personal stress management plan.

This workshop can be flexible in location, delivery and structure to suit individual and organisational needs. The needs will change significantly depending on industry sector type and the size of the organisation. These scenarios are catered at the planning stage.
